We just landed in Antigua, Guatemala and…we’re already obsessed While we wait for our 10 month old golden retriever, Mango, to make his way from the U.S., we’re spending the next few days soaking up everything this magical city has to offer.
From delicious food to hilarious encounters with locals, our first 24 hours have been an adventure! Here’s what we got up to:
Started the day with a typical Chapin breakfast (SO good!)
Wandered through Antigua’s colorful colonial streets
Checked into our gorgeous hostel—with a pool!
Bought bracelets from the funniest local vendor ever
Visited the world’s most beautiful McDonald’s (seriously, you need to see this)
Stopped by the iconic Santa Catalina Arch
Got INSANE volcano views of Acatenango, Agua & Fuego
… and so much more!
Why Antigua, Guatemala?
This city is straight out of a storybook—cobblestone streets, bright buildings, historic charm, and volcanoes towering in the background. It’s the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and laid-back vibes.
