Luanda: Where to live, where to shop and how to celebrate
In this video, I take you through a full day in Luanda, starting in the Patriota neighborhood — which I personally consider one of the best places to live in the city. It’s peaceful, pleasant, and more affordable than areas like Talatona. If you’re thinking of moving to Luanda or just want to get to know the city better, this video is for you!
Next, we head to Shopping Bellas in Talatona, a modern shopping mall that has everything you’d expect from a European mall: a supermarket, cinema, outdoor cafés, and stylish shops.
And to end the day… a traditional Angolan celebration: a “Pedido” (also known as Alambamento) — a beautiful cultural ceremony where families come together before the wedding. It was a special moment full of meaning, and I’ll bring you along for the experience!
