Los Angeles 1997

In 1997 we did our first trip to Los Angeles. It was a short 3-day trip and we mostly followed the beaten path – the tourist path. Universal Studios, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Walk of Fame etc etc …

We unexpectedly walked past a 10th anniversary event of the movie Dirty Dancing just in time for Patrick Swayze among others to walk out of the cinema. And we saw Laurence Fishburne holding a speech for Cicely Tyson (she was honored with a star that day) the day after. So those things satisfied our need for Hollywood glitz and glamour I guess.

We stayed at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
