Armenia Travel – Best Things to do in Armenia | Part 02
In this video, we’ll continue our overview of the wonderful things to see and do in Armenia. This video will be the 2nd in a two-part series where we’ll discover some of the best places to visit in Armenia, such as Dilijan city, Fioletovo village, the Temple of Garni and much more. We’ll also have a chance to taste the delicious Armenian gata bread. And as I promised in Part One, we visit the studio of one of the most friendly and charismatic locals I’ve ever met, his name is Mr. Bogdan. He’s a master carver of khachkars and he continues to practice this dying art.

Dilijan
Town in Armenia
Dilijan is a town in northern Armenia. It’s known for spa resorts and traditional craft workshops. The town is surrounded by the forests of Dilijan National Park. The Geological Museum and Art Gallery displays archaeological finds and international art. North of town, Haghartsin Monastery is a complex of stone churches. East, Goshavank Monastery is known for its intricate khachkars, or carved stones.
Noratus
Village in Armenia
Noratus is a village in the Gavar Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, near the town of Gavar. The village has a rich historical past, and is famous for the Noratus cemetery, the largest surviving cemetery in the world featuring khachkars.
Gyumri
Municipality in Armenia
Gyumri is an urban municipal community and the second-largest city in Armenia, serving as the administrative center of Shirak Province in the northwestern part of the country.
Garni
Village in Armenia
Garni, is a major village in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. It is known for the nearby classical temple. As of the 2011 census, the population of the village is 6,910.
