Awake – Zambia

Chongwe district is situated in the Lusaka Province of the Republic of Zambia. Chongwe’s Administrative Centre is located 45 Kilometres East of the Central Business area of the city of Lusaka.

Chongwe was declared a district in 1993 and later upgraded to a Municipal status in February 2017
