Peru’s Incredible Ballestas Islands
A couple of hours drive south of Peru’s capital Lima is the Pacific Coast fishing town of Paracas on the famed peninsula of the same name, a staging point for boat trips to the remarkable Ballestas Islands, often referred to as a miniature version of Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands.
