The Bloemenmarkt in Amsterdam is the world’s only floating flower market. It’s been at this location on the Singel Canal since 1883, and it’s located next to the Mint Tower (Munttroren). It’s made up of about 15-16 flower stalls or shops that are located on top of houseboats or barges. They sell all sorts of flowers, especially tulips, as well as flower bulbs, plants, plant food, plant pots, seeds, and gardening equipment.
