In today’s episode we visited Sambal Bakar, one of the fastest growing restaurants in Indonesia, to try their sambal dishes. This restaurant offers various proteins, such as fish, chicken, and beef, cooked with sambal and veggies. This concept is unique and a fun experience. We didn’t get a chance to try in Jakarta. So when we saw this restaurant in Bali, we knew we had to visit.
Sambal Bakar has over 26 locations throughout Indonesia and is perfect for friends and family to get together for a dining experience. We enjoyed trying the three different types of sambals, with three different spice levels. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly. When visiting Indonesia, this is one of those restaurants I would recommend to my friends if they were visiting Indonesia for the first time.
