ATIVESITE | Severe viral lung infections and ARDS, causes and effects

Lung infections caused by viruses, such as flu and RSV, are common. But in some cases they can lead to severe illness that can require hospitalisation and intensive care admission. We are following the science to understand what causes these severe responses and identify new targets to help treat them. One of our key targets is IL-33, a key driver of inflammation that can be activated in response to infections.
