Jill Wuyts, a transgender woman, lived most of her adult life hiding her true self, afraid that sharing how she felt would ruin her relationships with friends, family and colleagues. In her thirties, she made the decision to transition and with much apprehension came out to her Sanofi co-workers in Belgium. She was relieved and touched by the immediate support and kindness everyone showed to make her feel comfortable, accepted and included. “I’m happy to be in a place where people were ready to help me become the person I know I was always meant to be,” said Jill.
