ATIVESITE | AbbVie and City Year Partner to Advance Educational Equity

In 2018, AbbVie donated $10 million to City Year to advance educational equity and help students in underserved areas reach their full potential. Through our five-year partnership, City Year has served 345 under-resourced schools in 29 cities and supported access to STEAM programming (science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics), reaching more than 1 million students. AbbVie’s donation to City Year was part of the company’s $350 million commitment to nine nonprofits in 2018 to create long-term impact in communities across the U.S.
