ATIVESITE | Syria Crisis | Syrian wounded denied access to MSF hospital in Jordan

For three years, MSF’s emergency trauma surgical project in Ramtha hospital, less than 5 km from the Syrian borders, has been providing quality lifesaving medical treatment to war-wounded Syrians. Since the closure of Jordan’s borders with Syria on 21 June, war-wounded have been repeatedly and systematically denied access into the Ramtha border town through Jordan’s north-western borders.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
