ATIVESITE | MSF Health Data Sharing Project
MSF believes that it is essential to share health data openly, transparently and in a timely manner for the greater public health good. This is especially true for the most vulnerable and marginalized populations which lack the base of evidence required to address their health needs comprehensively. However, health data sharing is not as simple as it might sound, and there are many pitfalls when it comes to collection, protection and sharing of data.
MSF Japan has therefore appointed the Innovation Unit located in Tokyo to evaluate how this vision could be translated into reality. In the current first stage of the project, the team strives to understand the existing flow of health data collection, processing and sharing.
The innovation unit needs your input! Are you involved in any of those steps? Simply head to https://www.msf.or.jp/innovation, share your email address, and the team will reach out to you shortly.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
