El Zonte, El Salvador: Black Sand Beaches, Caves and Downpou…
After craving the beach for so long, I finally made it to El Zonte, a breathtaking coastal town in El Salvador! Just 45 minutes from San Salvador, this black sand beach paradise is known for its epic surf scene, chill vibes, and a little something called Bitcoin Beach.
In this vlog, I take you along as I navigate the local bus system, settle into my Airbnb, and explore some of the best spots in town. From an insane hidden cave you can only visit at low tide to some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, this trip had a little bit of everything—even some unexpected surprises.
Of course, no trip to El Salvador is complete without pupusas, so I found an amazing local spot where you can get them for just $1 each! And let’s not forget the rain… did it ruin the trip or make it even better? You’ll have to watch and find out!
