ATIVESITE | Project ECHO (Part 2): How Do I Screen for a Bleeding Disorder
Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) is hosting a 4-part Project ECHO® provider education series targeting obstetricians and gynecologists (OB/GYNs) with a focus on women and bleeding disorders. Project ECHO® uses a virtual telementor approach and believes in the “All Teach, All Learn” method.
In Part 2, Dr. Maureen Baldwin helps us identify resources to screen and monitor gynecologic and obstetric bleeding symptoms, identify the standard laboratory evaluation to test for bleeding disorders, identify pitfalls of testing and referral considerations, and recognize next steps in care if a bleeding disorder is suspect.
